Looks like we have some suspicious activity with some new sign ups (unless one of you guys really DID sign up with the screen name "playgirl"... in which case we have a whole DIFFERENT set of problems.)
In any case, I turned on the email verification for new sign ups which is kind of a pain but I don't want our forums getting crashed by bots. I will be deleting unused and suspicious looking users. Hopefully I don't accidentally delete someone who is legit... but I will only delete users who have no posts and / or who look like bots.
Thanks and sorry about the inconvenience. Hopefully we can open it back up later.
